Dr. Wisniewski graduated from the University of Pennsylvania, Philadelphia, PA with a Major in Bioengineering and Minor in Materials Science. After earning her M.D. at the University of Maryland School of Medicine, she completed a combined residency in Internal Medicine and Pediatrics at the Mt Sinai Icahn School of Medicine in New York City where she was Chief Resident and in the Alpha Omega Alpha (AOA) Honor Society.

Allergy and Immunology Fellowship was completed at the University of Virginia, Charlottesville, VA where she worked as faculty in the Department of Pediatrics and Internal Medicine, Division of Respiratory Medicine, Allergy, and Immunology, prior to moving back to Baltimore.

Dr. Wisniewski obtained Board Certification in Internal Medicine, Pediatrics, Allergy and Immunology. Her current practice is focused on Allergy and Immunology. She is an active member of the American Academy of Allergy and Immunology (AAAAI) Integrative Medicine Committee and writes test questions for the ABAI Continuous Assessment Program (CAP) Test Writing Committee. She has more than 20 years of experience practicing medicine.

During her tenure on faculty at the University of Virginia, as Assistant Professor in Allergy and Immunology, Dr. Wisniewski earned Certification as an Ayurvedic Medicine Educator and Practitioner at the California College of Ayurveda. Her medical expertise is complemented by methods of diet, lifestyle, and supplements from Ayurveda.

Dr. Wisniewski started teaching yoga in medical school, at Kim Manfredi’s first yoga studio, Charm City Yoga in Mt Vernon. She earned her yoga teacher certification at the Sivananda Yoga Vedanta Ashram in Val Morin, Canada. Additional yoga training has included studies in Rishikesh and Uttar Pradesh, India.
